Successfully coordinated the organization of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021 - 2026 term; Movements and campaigns continue to be widely deployed, creating a ripple effect in society. Comrade Ma En Hang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, 15th term, presented a political report at the congress.

Typically, in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the whole province mobilized people to contribute, donate land, labor; contribute ideas converted into cash of nearly 500 billion VND; mobilized contributions to the "Fund for the Poor" of more than 67.6 billion VND, supported the construction of 1,823 great solidarity houses, examined and treated the poor, carried out the work of promoting education, encouraging talents, supporting production development... Timely allocated more than 20 billion VND from the Relief Fund at all levels to support people affected by natural disasters, fires, and serious incidents, contributing to helping people inside and outside the province overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.

During the term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated to organize 3,384 meetings with voters and deputies of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, attracting 321,035 voters to participate, receiving 23,840 opinions and recommendations; chaired the organization of 99 "Direct Dialogue with the People" conferences...

For the 2024 - 2029 term, the congress set out the following directions and goals: Promoting the core political role and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus; representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; focusing on improving the quality of supervision, social criticism, fighting against corruption and negativity; actively participating in building a strong Party and government; promoting cultural values and the endogenous strength of all classes of people to contribute to realizing the aspiration to develop Lao Cai homeland to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.
