Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung welcomed the delegation of the Canadian International School in Lao Cai

On the afternoon of July 4, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung welcomed the delegation of the Canadian International School in Lao Cai.

Attending the meeting were leaders of the provincial Department of Education and Training, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the delegation  of the Canadian International School in Lao Cai, there were Dr. Richard Tapajna, Canadian citizen, Rector of the Canadian International School in Lao Cai; Representative of Khoi Nguyen Education Group (the investor of the Canadian International School project in Lao Cai).

At the meeting, Doctor of Education Richard Tapajna, Rector of Canadian International School in Lao Cai reported to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung a number of activities after accepting the position of Rector. Dr. Richard Tapajna said that after coming to Lao Cai, he has learned a number of places in the province, Lao Cai is a very beautiful place, the people are very friendly, and it is a very worthwhile place to live and work. As a Doctor in education, University of Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Richard Tapajna has 20 years of direct involvement in teaching and administration at several schools in Canada. With the purpose of continuing to do research, learn and bring Canadian educational experience and knowledge to many places, many people, Doctor has chosen to come to Lao Cai and hope to build a good quality educational environment in the province.

Dr. Richard Tapajna also expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee for creating all favorable conditions for the school to be soon invested and completed in the province. Dr. Richard Tapajna said: In September 2022, the school will be completed and put into use, which will bring good educational environment in Lao Cai. In the first academic year, the school will enroll 6 classes, from kindergarten to grade 5 and in the following years will enroll students up to grade 12, meeting the learning needs of people in the area.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung hopes that the school will come into operation soon and will create a new and quality educational environment in Lao Cai.

Talking to the delegation of Canadian International School in Lao Cai, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Giang Thi Dung wished the school would soon come into operation and create a new and quality educational environment in Lao Cai. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also wished that Canadian International School in Lao Cai would have activities to exchange educational experiences between Canadian teachers and Lao Cai teachers; between Canadian International School and the  schools in the province.
