The new Chairman of Lao Cai Province People's Council received 100% of the votes
On November 9, 2020, at the 15th session (the core session), Lao Cai Province People's Council, term XV, conducted the election for Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Council for the term of 2016-2021. The session went through a voting process. As a result, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, as the Provincial Party Committee Secretary, was elected to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council with 55/55 votes, achieving 100% of the presenting delegates. Previously, the session held a dismissal from Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Council during the term of 2016-2021 for Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh.
